Embassy of Ghana
3512 International Dr. N.W

Distinguished Ambassador Bawuah-Edusei:

For recommendation of the Exterior Relations Secretary in Mexico, Headquarter for Africa and Middle East, Department of Eastern Africa and Western at the expense of Ms. Vanesa Ortega de La Parra, we come to you for this way, in reason of requesting your valuable support to the following thing:

Our Mexican company located in San Luis Potosi, S.L.P. is an established company and in operations with more than 25 years of experience in the manufacture of steel bars for the industry of the construction.

For this reason, our raw material refers used rails from rail tracks (used rail), the same that we used for laminar hot and manufacture our products for this sector.

For this motive and given to an intense labor of world search, to this date we know that there exists a great volume of these materials in your Country, same that come from the Corporation “Ghana Railway Company Limited”; for such a situation, we are in touch with the company that has the mandate of sale of these materials, situation that we want to corroborate in the first instance(authority) by means of this embassy to your worthy position, and in turn to know the legitimacy of the documentation that he us presents in proof of it (we attach documentation got for us).

Our company is seriously interested in carrying out an important purchase of these materials; this situation has being translated in an important commercial operation of exportation for your Country.

The Information of the selling company of your country is the following one:

WISVIC CONSTRUCTION WORKS
Key Contact: Sam Thambo , Sales Representative
Having its registered office at
Hus No. 35 Room 15 Hatso – Accra Ghana
Tel: +233 245244998, +233 242343345

wisvicconstructionworksltd1@yahoo.com

On the other hand the above mentioned company for conduit of your representative of sales Mr. Sam Thambo, have told us that they don’t have the financial aptitude to carry out certain works and own services of this commercial operation, with which the following ones part:

1.- Cut of materials.
2.- Terrestrial transport to the Terminus of Port of Load.
3.- Costs of storage.

For this motive we come very respectfully to you to expose our following request:

By virtue of that the above mentioned seller appears like commandingly (mandate) and / or company authorized to carry out the sale of these materials property of your government, we would like to know the possibility that in case of meeting the imperious need to advance any quantity of money, this one it she could be by means of a governmental bank or in your case directly to the Corporation Ghana Railway Company Limited, in such a way that the correct utilization of the resources is vigilant in this commercial deal.

For us it is important to have complete security in fulfilling this commitment purchase and delivery of materials, and if these resources are monitored by the government agency concerned, we would be very grateful and committed.

Our company is prepared at any time to issue the letter of credit for the total cost of materials, which in this case and through the financial support of the government body that encourages foreign trade and exports, would financially support our provider with a security deposit of our company, and would greatly assist in providing security for the parties.

If it were the case, please inform the department which must hear the case because of link as soon as possible, because we are keen to finally realize this negotiation.

By way of information, we intend to buy 30,000 metric tons initial as a first shipment quantity representing approximately USD$4'500,000.

In conclusion, our company would be happy to deal directly with “Ghana Railway Company Limited”, for this reason we request their intervention in the matter, since it was a commercial operation of exporting his country.

Waiting favored us with their care and support; we reiterate our strong interest to the matter.

Best Regards.
